One of the best and lasting in the EBC brake pad materials family is the EBC Blue Stuff. The Blue Stuff is designed for heavier and faster sedans, passenger and muscle cars in track use, which have the endurance grade, longest lasting material. The Blue Stuff delivers a longer life compared to its counterparts; however, it has a slightly lower friction coefficient than Green Stuff, Yellow Stuff and Red Stuff. According to the Customer and Media Relations at EBC Brakes, Chris Noah says, “the Blue Stuff brake pads are designed for sports cars and faster sport compacts. This new brake pad material is extremely tough and very easy on the brake rotors.”

These race pads may also be used on the street like on production cars. In the beginning, the Blue Stuff NDX brake pad material was developed by undergoing years of track testing and was currently refined to be made suitable for heavy US model cars like Mustang, Camaro, GTO, Viper and Corvette.

If you check the specifications on the “Blue Stuff” racing brake pads, you will find out that the material used in the manufacturing of the pads underwent research and development for two years. This was done in the European labs and tracks before it was launched in the United States. The people at EBC said that the NDX Blue Stuff brake pads were “pre-bedded” by heat scorching and EBC claims that brake pads will “bed in” within three or four stops at the track.

The features of the EBS Blue Stuff brake pads include pre-bedded creation by heat scorching, is bonded to the steel backing plates using multiple high strength interlock holes, deep V grooves incorporated to help venting and catching dirt, dust and debris and lastly, manufactured by blending specially chosen man made naturally mined fibers.
